In preparation for the best holiday ever, I'm hosting a horror movie night tonight. Tomorrow night, unfortunately, I have to work, but Wednesday I'm having an all day drunk for Elliot's birthday, going downtown later that night and then to a friend of mine's beer pong tournament. I have an amusing costume and I'll definitely post the pics up in my next entry. If you're all lucky, there will be lots of drunken idiocy to display. I also have a backup costume if I can't pull this off, but my brother is good friends with someone that does costume and makeup for movies, so I'm going to talk to her tonight.

Has anyone heard of the show Smith? It starred Ray Liotta and ran for about 7 episodes on CBS before it was scrubbed. Well, it was a pretty awesome show and I'm kinda pissed that they took it off air. Apparently so is everyone on iTunes that has ever heard of that show. Is there a way to suggest to another station to pick up a certain show? How does one go about doing that? In fact, how does a network pick up a show that another network has discarded? Aren't there some sort of complications about episodes that have already been aired? I suppose they purchase them from the previous network, but do they re-air them before continuing with the storyline? Just wondering. With such a shortage of good tv shows, I hate seeing quality shows get cancelled because it either wasn't marketed well or was put in a horrible timeslot.

I think I'm writing for the right reasons again. I no longer care as much about the pace of what I'm writing or forcing character and plot development. I'm content in writing within the context of what I know, developing and honing my skills, then expanding my exposure so as to include more elements into what I write. I'm writing for the purpose of writing. For the first time in years, I'm beginning to feel like it's an extention of me again. I hope this develops how I would like it to.
